This is from the first day of our trip. We stopped before we got to Canada in a little town called Alexandria in northern New York because Ad has always wanted to explore a New England Castle. Boldt is especially intriguing because it was abandoned for about 70 years and left to deteriorate by the family until the state claimed it in the 1970's.
Adam said that his favorite moment of the day was when we got down the scooter to drive around the 1000 islands because it felt like we were on an adventure. I don't know if it is from movies or what it comes from...but driving in the open air feels like freedom.

Pretty sweet - I still don't know if smuggling all that Canadian moonshine back into the country is a good idea!
