Keene Pumpkin Festival

After I got back from the big surprise birthday party, Adam and I rushed off to Lakeville to brave the flu for a few days and luckily I got my health back in time to attend the Keene, NH Pumpkin Festival. The town attempts to beat the world record for "most jack-o-lanterns" every year at this festival. There are bands, pumpkin cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and folks dressed up in costumes wandering the crowded streets all day until the great lighting of the grand pumpkin towers at night. It is the quintessential New England fall day trip.
